Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Gammy does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. Your data stays on your device.

What Gammy accesses

  • gcloud config files — Gammy reads files in ~/.config/gcloud/ to determine your active project, account, configuration, and ADC state. These files are never modified by Gammy directly.
  • gcloud CLI — when you switch a project, account, or configuration, Gammy executes the corresponding gcloud command on your behalf.
  • Preferences — stored in macOS UserDefaults (local to your device). Includes pinned projects, recent projects, and UI preferences.

Credentials

Gammy does not read, copy, or store any credential material (tokens, keys, secrets). The gcloud CLI is the sole custodian of auth material. Gammy only reads metadata — project IDs, account emails, configuration names, and ADC type.

Network requests

Gammy itself makes no network requests. All GCP API calls (listing projects, listing service accounts) are made by the gcloud CLI process that Gammy invokes. Gammy does not proxy, log, or intercept any network traffic.

Analytics and tracking

Gammy does not include any analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking frameworks. We do not collect usage data of any kind.

Auto-update

Gammy uses Sparkle to check for updates. This sends a standard HTTP request to our update server to check for new versions. No personal data or usage information is included in this request.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Gammy after changes constitutes acceptance.
